One thing you might consider adding is an introduction forum. It would be a great place for users to get to know others from this forum and may make them feel more welcome.
Not everyone may use it but it would probably be a benefit to have.

Thats done, did think of it but thought users may go straight into talking games and stuff. Its up, many thanks for the advice. MrTech

No problem. Just glad to help.
And like you said, not everyone will use it (probably the majority of people wont) but it's a great way to provide members with a way to feel more welcome.
